The Ming-style round-backed armchair is thought as a gem of the traditional furniture. The factors that influence the evolvement of the Ming-style round-backed armchair are analysed, and the characteristics of the round-backed armchair among different periods are summarized. Such a realization will help us to create new classics furniture in modern time by taking full advantage of cultural factors.
