Abstract :
The mathematical model of the variable-frequency excitation power supply served for the wind power doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) was developed. The simulation model in the simulink platform was proposed based on the mathematical model. Choose a practical excitation power supply and apply its parameters to the simulation model. Simulation results show the variable-frequency excitation power supply model can provide excitation voltage whose amplitude and frequency can vary. It also can run on the unity power factor rectification and inversion state. The results also verify the simulation model can meet the requirement of the VSCF wind energy conversion system.
