The practical teaching has an important position in university education, especially to the local universities, it has an un-substituted function in students´ practical ability cultivation. Discussion about the validity can help to improve the practical teaching quality. On the base of analyzing the practical teaching characteristics, the validity of the practical teaching is discussed surrounding the practical teaching goal and teaching modes.
