The graduation project is the final link of higher education. Its quality is the embodiment of the teaching quality of a university, is the comprehensive application embodiment of specialty knowledge ability learned by students, and also is the evaluation of university graduate´s quality. The current employment situation of college students is worrying. Integration of graduation design and employment is proposed based on the status of graduation design and employment of undergraduates. And specific measures in civil engineering are discussed. The method of team coaching is one of the ways to resolve this principal contradiction, to share high-quality educational resources and to improve thesis quality of undergraduates majoring in science and technology. It can offer ideas for instructors of civil engineering and will be helpful for graduate employment.
