Abstract :
Weak signal detection problems can usually be met in the fields of signal processing, signal transmission, networking and security (key enabling technologies supporting electrical and control engineering applications). Modeling and simulation are very important for the design and application of weak signal detection algorithms to support electrical and control engineering applications and extensive researches have been paid to such fields. Modeling and simulation for the algorithms of single-layer autocorrelation, multi-layer autocorrelation, and discrete wavelet transform are performed and researched for the application in weak signal detection in this paper. Simulation results show that algorithm of multi-layer autocorrelation has the best performance, algorithm of single-layer autocorrelation has better performance, algorithm of discrete wavelet transform has the worst performance.
