Abstract :
Building bone scaffold with controllable pore size is important. This paper presents a new design approach of internal structure in order to simulate pore character of the natural bone in the bone scaffold. A parametric structure of unit cell is used as the basic unit to build internal architecture. There are three types of global unit assembly paths in this method. Different linear control functions can be applied in each path to control the size changing of the pore of unit cells, which can be used to realize various typical macro distribution of porosity in the bone scaffold..
