Abstract :
Traditionally power transmission rely on wire transmission through electrical wire or cable, which greatly effect the safety, flexibility, and reliability of power transmission and bring a lot of inconvenience to human´s life. The introduction of wireless power transmission can enormously improve these disadvantages and even solve the energy crisis, the serious problem human facing now. This paper discusses wireless power transmission from several aspects such as basic principles, development home and abroad, existing problems, and development tendency, etc, and points out that the replacement of traditional mode by wireless transmission will result in profound change to the power transmission mode.
