Abstract :
Shinning adornments, ornaments that are made of fine reflective materials in garments, are widely applied in the traditional ethical garments in all countries and are deeply fancied by all the people. Shinning adornments, as one important component of ethical garments, not only beautify and highlight the garments´ character, but play an active and important role in recording, annotating, and passing down the ethical culture. The paper introduced the types of shinning adornments in ethical garments, and discussed their cultural connotations and symbolic meanings from the perspective of religion, worship, and political symbolization, and studied their exploitation and application in the current clothing industry.
