Abstract :
An accurate and rapid algorithm to identify the Welding line picture based on the arc irradiation is the key problem that the intelligent tracking welding-line system for arc welding robot based the arc irradiation run successfully or not. The Roberts algorithm is the most efficient to execute code in the all algorithms of edge identification. But it is very sensitive to noise. The traditional Roberts algorithm is effected by the noise seriously under the complexity of welding condition. So we put forward an improved Roberts algorithm which used in our system. The result proved that it is satisfied our system for validity and real time very well.
