Abstract :
An efficient objects identification method of intelligent space based on ceiling camera is proposed. First, the environment segmentation method is introduced, and we can get several labeled connected components. Then, a color-based Gaussian mixture model (GMM) method is used for recognizing the components as the objects accordingly. At last, the experiment shows the feasibility and efficiency of the method.
