Abstract :
In this paper we have researched on a method based on estimate of tire longitudinal stiffness for tire pressure monitoring. To solve the problem, a self-adaptive nonlinear filter and an optimal FIR derivative have been designed and applied to vehicle speed calculation and acceleration estimate respectively. Finally, the Least Squares method based on pattern search is adopted to estimate the tire longitudinal stiffness and the results verify the feasibility and the effectiveness of the scheme.
