Abstract :
This presentation will look at IPTV commercial offers and regulation in the five largest EU Member States: France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK. It will cover broadcast and on-demand video services provided over both fixed networks (xDSL, FTTH) and wireless networks (3G, DVB-H, DMB). It will summarise the regulatory trends, both at EU level and at national level, that affect the provision of these services.
