Abstract :
To the question that motion errors restrict improving of spotlight SAR resolution, this paper puts forward a kind of processing method that is wavenumber domain algorithm with two-step motion compensation of spotlight-mode SAR data combining phase gradient autofocus algorithm (PGA), which removes the influence of range motion error and opposite rotate error to spotlight SAR imaging and improves the quality of spotlight SAR images. Simulation results indicate this method has remarkable effect to improve the resolution of spotlight SAR.
