Abstract :
Aiming at moving aspect of heterogeneous wireless network, The paper puts forward a heterogeneous network mobile management mechanism- Identifiers Split Memory, Substitution Transmission Scheme ISMSTS, introduces the basic theory and the protocol process of ISMSTS detailed, and makes the performance analysis and the contrast with MIPv6 protocol. ISMSTS is the mobile management scheme based on the network, both of the position and switch management are accomplished by the network. It can satisfy the needs of the heterogeneous converged network mobile management mechanism on fast switching, extensible, controllable, safety and reducing of wireless link costs. Theoretical analysis shows that on the network layer the average switching lag time of network ISMSTS much less than MIPv6´s, which can effectively support most real-time application. And the realization and verification of the prototype system further illustrates the feasibility and the effectiveness of the ISMSTS.
