Abstract
In this paper, computer technology is integrated with education of art and design. From the view of environmental art design, the teaching method of spatial design is explored. Computer-aided design is utilized in the teaching method of spatial design for helping students enhance the abilities of comprehension and creation. The teaching model is a whole system from perception of space to creation of space; that is to say, space was taken as the main line including perception, representation, change and creation of space. In the whole process, the teaching model breaks through the traditional training model of spatial design, provided more effective, faster and more intuitionistic teaching experience for beginners by utilizing computer-aided design. The teaching model not only becomes a drawing tool but also an assistant of awareness and creation of space.
