  • Abstract
Aerotek is currently developing an outdoor facility for the measurement of full-scale aircraft RCS (radar cross section). These measurements will be performed on stationary aircraft, as opposed to dynamic (in-flight) RCS measurements. The facility is based on an inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) principle and will provide the user with diagnostic RCS capability, using 2-dimensional ISAR images of the object being tested. The measurement facility will also be capable of performing cylindrical near-field antenna pattern measurements on antennas too large for other local facilities. An overview of the facility and its applications (once completed) are presented
