Abstract :
A large proportion of information over mobile network can not convey the original meaning accurately, because of the different exhibition capacities of various terminals of web content, such as computer monitors, PDA displays or mobile phone screens. In this paper, we propose a hierarchical model of web content with various abstraction levels to suit diverse terminals, formalize the problem of web information issuance and design two algorithms for its optimal solutions. Under such framework, we can release information by appropriate means, to adapt various types of hardware to different web content by issuing it in the proper format, and hence minimize the degree of information distortion. We also provide complexity analysis and a relevant comparison between the two algorithms.
