Study on interactive education of subject-based English

Various subject-based English (SBE) teaching methods are presented in this paper. Appropriate teaching methods for different teaching materials and situations help to improve learners´ interest and efficiency. SBE teaching needs an interactive education model. The interactive education model is a challenge to the teachers´ leading position in the education. Teachers´ function transits to organizer and advisor instead of authority. SBE teaching focus not on pouring knowledge to students but to cultivate student´s ability to further study, solving problem independently, communication, collaboration, personality. These abilities are required to be successful in career.
