  • Abstract
The proposed bandgap voltage references are using an asymmetric differential pair. The transistors of this pair may have different emitter areas. The reference voltage is equal to the difference of the potential defined by the emitter-base voltage of one transistor and emitter-base voltage of another transistor. Choosing transistor sizes one can find the conditions of the first-order temperature compensation. The references use different methods of split the tail current between transistors of the pair, and by methods of the tail current generation and control. The power supply voltage for these references is about 0.85 to 0.9 V. The circuits can be realized in a CMOS technology.
