Abstract :
This paper had done a crowd evacuation simulation based on a hierarchical environmental model. An environment modeling software had been implemented which can be used to construct an environment model consisted of geometric level, topological level, path level and cognitive level. The environment model can provide many supports for visual effect, sensing, path planning, decision-making, and interaction et al, which turned the large scale crowd evacuation simulation into truth.
