Abstract :
A sinusoidal phase-modulation gate for cross-correlation frequency-resolved optical gating (PM- FROG) is demonstrated. This low-loss, linear gating technique can be used without separate gate characterization via a blind FROG algorithm with a simple intensity constraint.
