Abstract :
A radar imaging method for terrain is introduced in which the radar is suspended in the air, but the radar antenna is rotating. The relation between echo signals and the terrain image (the absolute value of terrain reflectivity) is examined. An imaging method called equal-range projection deconvolution is the derived, and an algorithm reconstructing the terrain image is given
