Abstract :
The driver assistance system is more and more widely used with the development of automobile industry. The driver assistance system based on pervasive computing integrates the function of computing, communicating and sensing, which can assure the driving safety and prejudging the traffic emergency by sharing the information among vehicles of the same district. The structure and working principle of the system is discussed in this paper. The function of each module is introduced in detail. And the working principle is discussed to explain relationship of the modules. The research emphasis is laid on the vision enhancement technique, which involves utilizing multi-sensor information fusion to get a vision enhanced scene. And the solution of the vision enhancement system is put forward in this paper, which has been successfully used in a developing driver assistance system and got good results.
