Study on Causes and Strategies of Online Game Addiction among College Students

Online game Addiction, which is one of online Addictions, is hurtful for college students´ development of body and mentality. It is an important topic about how to help college students to get rid of online Addiction effectively, and develop appropriate habits for life. Based on the definition of online game Addiction, the current paper analyzed the reasons from objective and subjective aspects. And then the damages about college students´ online game Addiction were discussed from the view of psychology. At last, the strategies for coping with online game Addiction among college students were produced, which included constructing harmonious online game environment, reforming college teaching manner, enriching college students´ life style, improving college students´ ability of self control, and producing psychological tutorship.
