Abstract :
Simulation of soil salinity is the basis for effective control of salinization and utilization of regional salinization lands. This paper was to simulate dynamic of soil salinity with pedo-transfer functions (PTFs) and geographic information system (GIS) technology based on facile variables in Yellow River Delta. Simulating models were derived from field observation data of soil salinity, EC and water table of groundwater, and real time rainfall and evaporation through multiple linear regression analysis for three soil types in Yellow River Delta during time from May to October when plants grows. The temporal and spatial changes of soil salinity were simulated according to regression models using GIS. The results presented that linear regression models were practicable though they can not be completely explained in theory. The dynamic changes of soil salinity were based on that of prophase and the soil salinity of prophase had played uppermost role in that of next phase. The soil salinity, affected by tides and soaked by seawater, in beach zone is high and steady relatively and that of inland had been changed in terms of regional rainfall, evaporation and groundwater in seasons.
