Abstract :
This paper provides the first study of time and space multiresolution time domain schemes. The Haar basis is used and all orders of wavelets are included. Filter bank theory is employed for the efficient computation of the discrete wavelet transform with respect to the time wavelets. Significant time and memory saving properties of the schemes become evident through their analysis and application.
