Abstract :
The direct two-dimensional Fourier transform ( TFT) method enables a fast image reconstruction. The key problem of this method is in the interpolation from polar to Cartesian samples. In this paper we present an accurate and efficient interpolation technique for TFT method. The result of this TFT method is compared with that of the conventional filtered backprojection method and the high-speed and the high-quality of this technique are proved.
