Abstract :
This paper presents a new current-controlled current-mode multifunction filter with three inputs and single output employing four translinear current conveyors (CCCIIs) and two grounded capacitors. By appropriately selecting the input terminals, the circuit can realize lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandstop and allpass current responses without chaining the circuit topology. The filter also offers independent electronic control of the natural frequency and the quality factor. The characteristics of the proposed filter are simulated using PSPICE simulations to confirm the theory.
