Abstract :
The explosive growth of the Internet and the rising popularity of mobile devices have created a varying environment where lots of mobile multimedia applications and services are emerging everyday. This paper proposes a novel MPEG-4 short film production system based on mobile context photo. This system records context information surrounding mobile user when taking photos, and uses the mobile context photos to produce short film by the object-oriented MPEG-4 coding technology. The implementation of a demonstration system including the mobile context camera application and multimedia production server is presented in this paper.
