Abstract :
A validation of the low-band microwave multitone (multisine) signal is presented. This signal consists of a grid of microwave spectral lines with a known phase relation between the spectral lines. Such signals will prove their utility for the calibration of the next generation nonlinear vectorial network analysers operating in narrowband measurement mode.
