Abstract :
Beam shaping of a radial line slot array antenna is demonstrated using an approximate radiation model for this form of antenna. The procedure is demonstrated with the example of beam broadening of a Ku-band RLSA antenna having an assumed beam squint angle. Comparison between predicted and measured radiation patterns shows good agreement between theory and experiment
