Abstract :
Based on a traditional SOFC hybrid power system, a zero CO2 emission SOFC hybrid power system with steam injection is proposed in this paper and its performance is analyzed. Oxy-fuel combustion can burn the fuel gas from anode thoroughly, and increases the concentration of CO2 gas, which will greatly reduce the energy consumption of CO2 separation. At the same time with the steam injected into the afterburner, the efficiency of hybrid power system greatly increases. Compared with the basic SOFC hybrid system without capturing CO2, the efficiency of new system with CO2 capture can only be decreased by 3 percentage points. The results obtained in this paper provide useful reference for further study on high-efficient zero emission CO2 system.
