Abstract :
The development of earth observation technology has changed the way to obtain eco-environmental information. Through remote sensing images, we can access to various kinds of environmental information about large areas dynamic and rapidly. However, with the expansion of eco-environmental information, the data itself has become the bottleneck for its further use because of its massive and closed nature, and furthermore, it has become a key issue to construct "digital ecology". This paper mainly deals with the sharing and integration of eco-environmental information. It probes into the framework construction of the multi-source eco-environmental information grid platform (EIG) and its crucial techniques. Then, it takes the region of Taihu Lake for trial, and builds a prototype system of EIG. Finally the feasibilities and practicality of the above technical solution are well proved.
