Abstract :
We demonstrate ITU-grid multi-channel high-speed (40-GHz experimentally, and 80-GHz in simulation) chirp-free return-to-zero optical pulse train generation by a single phase modulator driven by an electrical clock at half frequency and a PM fiber.
