Abstract :
In this article we outline some of the improvements we have made to our surgical techniques to enable us to obtain electrophysiological data in freely moving neonatal rats. These modifications will assist in the acquisition and analysis of evoked field potentials from the dentate gyrus subfield of the hippocampus in neonatal rats.
