Abstract :
A highly nonlinear photonic crystal fiber is designed and the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation of its character are realized by all-vector finite element method. The results show that in the wavelength range of 0.7~1.4μm,the dispersion can be tuned by adjusting the optical fiber structure and nonlinear coefficient reaches to 51 km-1W-1 at the wavelength of 1.31μm.
