Abstract :
The paper describes the development of JavaTM Web applets for tutorials on artificial neural learning. First, the artificial neuron applet simulates the structure and behaviour of an artificial neuron. Second, the perceptron learning applet demonstrates a simple form of supervised learning known as the perceptron learning algorithm. These applets exploit the benefits of Java to provide a dynamic and new approach to demonstrating artificial neural networks.
