Abstract :
A fully CMOS compatible DNA microarray system with a nanoparticle labeling protocol is demonstrated using a standard 0.5 micron CMOS process. The system has the advantages such as full CMOS capability with on-chip control circuit, very high sensitivity and ease of use without the need of expensive external optics.
