Abstract :
This paper examines the use of computer modelling to assess the suitability of windfarm grounding systems for protection against power system faults and lightning strikes. The transient behaviour of practical earthing system designs are presented using the general purpose EMTP program and the specialist CDEGS grounding analysis software
