Abstract :
A parallel implementation of the extended Kalman filter (KF) for target tracking systems is presented. The decoupling technique is utilized to reduce computational requirements and to increase parallelism. Also, the properties of matrices in the tracking KF are exploited to simplify the implementation complexity
