  • Abstract
The TiO2 film was produced on the pure Ti plate substrate in the electrolyte solution of Na3PO4 by micro-arc oxidation (MAO) process. The effect of electrolyte concentration, oxidation time and current density on structure, chemical composition of the TiO2 film had been investigated. It was found that the TiO2 film was consisted of anatase and the rutile phases. H2 production activity was examined by photo-catalytic decomposing H2O over the films in the solution of Na2S and Na2SO3. It was showed from experimental results that the highest H2 production rate was 0.28 μmol/ h · cm2 over the TiO2 film which was produced under the condition of the electrolyte concentration of 0.11 mol/L, oxidation time of 9 min, current density of 4 A/cm2.
