Abstract :
A single-instruction multiple-data (SIMD) multiprocessor architecture, for performing real-time adaptive digital filtering using the least-mean-square (LMS) algorithm, is presented. This architecture was devised to realize very-large-order adaptive filters using commercial digital signal processors. Its advantage is in the reduction of the number of interconnection links among boards when the hardware cannot be implemented in a single card
