Abstract :
In accordance with simple adaptive control(SAC) schemes, a design method of multivariable self-tuning controllers is proposed for discrete-time stochastic systems. For discrete-time deterministic systems, a few SAC schemes have been reported. Usually, these methods require a direct control feedthrough as a control block. The existence of the direct control feedthrough, however, makes the SAC schemes complicated, Whereas, according to the proposed control scheme, it enables one to construct further simple self-tuning control systems, since it is not necessary to involve the direct control feedthrough in control systems
