Abstract :
Combining the flux-oriented control technique of permanent magnetic synchronous motor (PMSM) with the modulation technique of three-phase AC-AC matrix converter (MC), this paper conducts the MC-PMSM closed-loop control system. Firstly, based on the current-hysteresis-following technique, the input current-state modes of PMSM was determined by comparing the difference between the output currents of MC and reference stator-currents which yields to the flux-oriented control of PMSM. Then, according to both the input current-state modes of PMSM and the input voltage areas of MC, this paper figures out the modulation matrix of MC real time for next sample period. So that the stator currents of PMSM follow the reference ones and flux-oriented control is achieved. Finally, a prototype is completed based on the analysis. The experiment results coincide with that of analysis and have already verified the feasibility of applying MC to the flux-oriented control of PMSM.
