Abstract :
In this paper a new method of spot detection and tracking is reported. This method uses sequence mutual information distribution characteristic parameters as detection and tracking, fitting circular equation. According to the distribution of sequence mutual information make center of a circle fitting, fitting equation was used to estimate the center of light spot energy. This testing method plays the role of compensation in anti-interference for atmospheric turbulence and background light, and then, it can inhibit testing error in a small range. However, this method has a great reference, which provides an effective solution for long distance wireless laser communication precise tracking between level links. The algorithm has great robustness in strong noise environment.
