Abstract :
A recursive algorithm to compute both the magnitude and the phase autoregressive (AR) spectra directly from the reflection coefficients is derived. A geometric interpretation follows as the consequence of the recursive formulas. Bounds for the AR magnitude spectra and error bounds between successive orders are also evaluated
