Abstract :
This paper discusses the IIR digital filter design based on the chaos particle swarm optimization algorithm (CPSO). CPSO algorithm not only maintains the feature of simple structure, but also improves PSO algorithm global optimization capability, and enhances the convergence speed and accuracy of the algorithm. The simulation results of the low-pass and band-pass filter design show that the IIR digital filter can be designed with good performance using the CPSO algorithm and the precision and the iterative count compared with PSO have been improved greatly.
