Abstract :
Emerging portable battery-operated systems demand compact, high efficiency, low-voltage and low-power DC-DC converters to maximize system run-time. A hybrid control strategy is used to achieve high efficiency and to select reasonable passive elements over a wide load range. The purpose of this paper is to study design optimization for LV DC-DC power converters. In the paper, a hybrid-controlled buck converter is used to demonstrate the optimization
