Abstract :
This project will allow for physically handicapped persons to access the Internet using a single switch interface from a personal data assistant (PDA) or personal computer. Using specially created software, a person with limited movement capabilities will be able to browse the Internet and send emails using a single or multiple switches. The product consists of several elements: the switch interface, the mechanical arm to hold the PDA, the PDA itself, and the Web-browsing software.
