  • Abstract
    This article discussed the principles of designation for the constellations configuration of the analogous terrestrial planets´ global navigation and positioning, and analyzed an initial configuration example of the Mars global navigation satellite system constellation. Also, the method to assess the optimal constellation design was discussed. This study can give a reference about designing and establishing the Mars navigation satellites constellation system for future.
